Since 1993, we have created the opportunity for over 2,200
children 7 to 18 years of age to perform in amazing venues in
Sacramento, our nation, and abroad. Our goal is to inspire our
children – and our audiences – with a life-long love of music by
performing different types of musical genres and by utilizing
many languages and different eras.
The touring choirs of the SCC (Cantoris, Cappella) have delighted
audiences in Sweden, Norway, England, France, the Czech Republic,
Hungary, Pilsen, Kromeriz, Honolulu, New York (Carnegie Hall),
Oregon and Los Angeles as well as the Sacramento Community Center
Theater, the Memorial Auditorium and the Mondavi Center at
University of California at Davis.
