"Enhancing Children's
Lives through Excellence
in Choral Music"
The Sacramento Children's Chorus
serves children of all ages. Young
children are immersed in training
programs, which include singing for
an audience. Upper elementary and
middle school singers enjoy an
advanced choral experience in
which the love of music develops
into performance excellence. High
school students focus their skills in
small musical groups, many of
whom plan to pursue professional
music careers.
Enhancing Children's
Lives...
Sacramento Children's Chorus
members are exposed to the finest
choral literature with instruction from
highly accomplished directors.
Singers perform locally, nationally
and internationally. At every level -
from the basics of music theory to
performances with operas and
orchestras - the SCC enhances
children's lives with music and deep
friendships.
Through Excellence...
From the rehearsal room to the
magnificent choral performance
venues, SCC's commitment to
excellence is constant. Each chorus
member at every level is
encouraged to do their best. The
results - for singer and audience
alike - are breathtaking.
In Choral Music...
Singers with the chorus blossom as
their knowledge of music deepens,
their choral music skills develop,
and their appreciation of diverse
cultures and languages grows. Their
experiences help mold a lifelong
love of choral music.
