Thank you for your donation to and support of the Sacramento Children’s Chorus. Yesterday was a challenge but we came together like a choir would to lift our organization up and provide funds for our music programs. Music is a universal language. It inspires common human feelings and bridges gaps between cultures that spoken languages cannot.
“The two most important things I learned from SCC were a sincere sense of musicianship, and an ability to sing with total vocal health. I found that because of SCC, when I started conservatory training I was lucky to be a singer with a sense of musical line, and an ability to connect to the song. This was paramount in my success as a young singer. I also found that I sang with a sense of vocal ease and health, and this was most certainly due to the vocally healthy and pure approach that Lynn Stevens brought to her teaching.”
