Dreaming of Musical Landscapes Concert
May 6, 2018

Join the SCC as we take you on an adventure through the mysterious night, the boundless sea, and the soaring sky in the final concert of our 25th season, “Dreaming of Musical Landscapes.” From classic melodies of Mozart, to movies like Brave and Lilo & Stitch, to Broadway’s Wicked and Hamilton, we’ll present music — some chosen by our singers themselves — that helps remind us of how nature can be a constant and comforting presence in our lives.

Music’s long relationship with the glory of nature is as relevant today as it surely was to our singers of 25 years ago. Children of every age know the joy of rushing outside to play in the cool rain or soak up the warmth of the sun. “Our love of music is just as instinctive and universal, and never fails to unite us and give us that sense of community for which we always long,” stated Alexander Grambow.

Please join us in our final concert of the season as we celebrate the beauty of Spring in song!
