Beth Steele

In May 2007, the Sacramento Children’s Chorus was lucky to have someone special join our SCC family.  Beth Steele came to us as a friend of a friend of a friend who told her about a very part time opportunity at SCC.  Beth joined the staff of SCC as the Marketing Assistant. Shortly after our new ED, Daphne Quist joined SCC in May 2008, she recognized how skillful and dedicated Beth was to the organization. And as they say the rest is history. 

Beth spent her youth living on the Stanford campus as her father was a big wig with the University. Beth left Palo Alto to attend Lewis and Clark in Portland OR to receive her BA in Psychology. She had a successful career in hotel management working for the leaders Hilton, Hyatt and Woodmark. Beth’s career took her from Sales Manager to Director of Sales and Marketing.  She met the man of her dreams where she had to trade in her Stanford red for USC Trojan red. Soon, Beth and her husband starting raising a family. She was a stay at home mom but managed to be a PTA president for 8 years, serve on school site council for 6 years, volunteer for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and volunteer for 13 year with River City Theater Company as a board member, costumer and work the sound board and develop “mic” plots. 

On occasion, Beth has been known to whip up a quilt over a weekend. 

Beth is SCC’s every capable Office Manager and works side by side Daphne and Lynn. 

She recently was co-tour manager of our China trip and is one of the best parts of the SCC team.  Beth Steele has unstoppable drive, organizational skills, humor and passion for SCC.
