Come learn how to use the music software program,
“Sibelius.” Through hands-on, activities you’ll learn the
basics of how to input your compositions in the software. The
Sibelius programs makes inputting notes, articulation, and other
key elements to writing a piece of music easy. With a playback
feature, participants can quickly hear how their own arrangements
and compositions sound.

Students must be incoming 7th graders through 12th grade. Must
bring laptop, software has a free version. Limited
to 8 participants in a session to ensure individual
Participants should have knowledge of letter names, the functions
of accidentals (sharps, flats, and natural), and a basic
understanding of key signatures and scales.
