“The two most important things I learned from SCC were a sincere sense of musicianship, and an ability to sing with total vocal health. I found that because of SCC, when I started conservatory training I was lucky to be a singer with a sense of musical line, and an ability to connect to the song. This was paramount in my success as a young singer. I also found that I sang with a sense of vocal ease and health, and this was most certainly due to the vocally healthy and pure approach that Lynn Stevens brought to her teaching.”
