Alex Grambow
Artistic Director - Crescendo & Dolce

Alex Grambow, artistic director believes that music provides children with a unique way to learn about the world and a safe and nurturing opportunity for self-expression. Before joining SCC as the Artistic Director, Mr. Grambow worked with children in three successful music programs. He taught in Twin Rivers Unified School District where he ran two different music programs, one at Foothill High School and the other at Foothill Ranch Middle School. Between the two schools, he taught 5th through the 12th grade and was in charge of four choirs and two bands. Prior to Twin Rivers Unified School District, Mr. Grambow taught at Harmony Stockton, Stockton Unified School District, an El Sistema inspired program.

Mr. Grambow graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in vocal music. While attending UOP, Mr. Grambow was the recipient of the Presser Scholarship. Mr. Grambow trained with Lynelle Wiens, Professor of Voice, University of the Pacific.
Mr. Grambow’s performing experience includes Music Circus, Woodland Opera House Theatre Company, Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra and Westminster Church Choir. Mr. Grambow is currently the Music Director at the Northminster Presbyterian Church..
