SCC is back for music education and rehearsals! We are so excited
to be back together – online. See our schedule and we will be
hosting special guests directors.
During this difficult time, Sacramento Children’s Chorus went
from a traditional chorus program to providing virtual learning
activities for our choirs. Virtual choir rehearsals re-enforcing
music theory, model singing techniques and provide musical tracks
for singing at home.
These are unprecedented times and community choral leaders
have questions:
When will I be able to rehearse with my chorus again?
Will audiences want to attend concerts next season?
Will I have to cancel my season?
Should we stay virtual?
Some health experts say it is not safe for choirs to
rehearse or perform together.
Attached is an ebook that was written to help choruses sustain
their organizations and better prepare for a time in which it is
safe to sing together again.
